Ingredients list for Keto Chicken Curry- Sk Khazana
- Chicken
- 4 tablespoons Yogurt full fat
- 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1 medium Onion
- 1 large Tomato
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 6-8 Black peppercorns
- 1 Bay leaf
- 2 Green cardamoms
- 2 Cloves
- 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 2 teaspoons Cumin powder
- 3 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- for garnish Fresh coriander sprigs
Method
- Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add yogurt, red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder and ginger-garlic paste. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon into the bowl and mix well. Set aside for 30 minutes.
- Finely chop onion and tomato.
- Heat butter in a deep pan, add black peppercorns, bay leaf, green cardamoms and cloves and sauté till fragrant. Add onion and saute till golden brown.
- Add tomato and salt, mix well, cover and cook till the tomato turns soft and pulpy.
- Add coriander powder and cumin powder, and mix well. Add marinated chicken, mix and sauté on high heat 4-5 minutes.
- Add coriander leaves and 2½ cups water and mix well. Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes.
- Add garam masala powder and mix well. Cover and cook till the chicken is cooked completely.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander sprigs and serve hot.
