And not just biryanis, curries, bakes and all other preparations with this wonderful meat are always special. Ingredients for Keema Patti Samosa Recipe

  • Mutton mince (keema) 1 cup

  • Samosa pattis 8-12

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger chopped 1/2 tablespoon

  • Green chillies finely chopped 1-2

  • Large onion finely chopped 1

  • Salt to taste

  • Cumin powder 1 teaspoon

  • Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon

  • Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

  • Yogurt 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tablespoon

  • Lemon juice 1 teaspoon

  • Refined flour slurry as required

  • Butter to brush

  • Green chutney to serve

Method

Step 1

Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add garlic, ginger, green chillies and onion, mix and sauté till the onion turns translucent.

Step 2

Add mutton mince and mix well. Add salt, mix and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Add cumin powder, chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder, mix and cook till the mutton is fully done.

Step 4

Add yogurt and coriander leaves, mix well and cook for a minute. Add lemon juice and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.

Step 5

Preheat oven to 180˚ C.

Step 6

Place samosa pattis on the worktop. Place a portion of cooked mutton mixture on one end, apply some slurry on the edges sand shape into triangular samosas.

Step 7

Place the samosas on a baking tray and brush each with butter. Keep the tray in the preheated oven and bake for15-20 minutes.

Step 8

Take the tray out of the oven, arrange the samose on a serving platter and serve hot with green chutney.
