Ingredients list for Bread Croquettes
- 8 Bread slices
 - 2 medium Potatoes boiled, peeled and mashed
 - 1/4 Carrot shredded
 - 1 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped
 - 1/4 cup Cabbage finely chopped
 - 1/4 cup Green capsicum finely chopped
 - 1/4 cup Spinach finely chopped
 - 1 small Onion finely chopped
 - 1/4 cup Green peas boiled and mashed
 - 2-3 teaspoons Rice flour
 - 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
 - to taste Salt
 - 1 teaspoon Chaat masala
 - for deep-frying Oil
 
Method
- Trim edges of the bread slices and put the slices in a bowl. Sprinkle one to two tablespoons of water and mash well.
 - Add potatoes, carrot, ginger, cabbage, capsicum, spinach, onion, green peas, rice flour, red chilli powder, cumin powder, salt and chaat masala and mix well.
 - Divide the mixture into sixteen equal portions and shape them into long croquettes.
 - Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, slide in the croquettes and deep-fry croquettes on medium heat till golden. Drain on absorbent paper.
 - Serve hot.
