Ingredients
- ¾ cup refined flour (maida)
- ¼ cup gram flour (besan)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- A pinch of green cardamom powder
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- A pinch of baking soda
- ¼ cup ghee
- Blanched, peeled and slivered pistachios to sprinkle
Method
- Preheat the air fryer to 180° C.
- Take refined flour in a parat, add gram flour, powdered sugar, green cardamom powder, baking powder and baking soda and mix well.
- Add ghee and knead to smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into balls. Flatten each ball slightly and sprinkle blanched pistachios on top. These are nankhatais.
- Arrange the nankhatais in the air fryer basket, fit it into the air fryer and air fry for 12-15 minutes.
- Bring the air fryer out and allow to cool. Arrange them in a serving platter and serve.
