Quick Aloo ki Sabzi Whenever you are short of time make this potato sabzi – it is really tasty. Simple and quick recipe of potatoes cooked with chopped tomatoes and mild spices. By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Jul 2016 in Recipes Veg New Update Main Ingredients Potatoes, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 0-5 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients 2 medium potatoes,peeled and cut into cubes 1 tablespoon oil 1 teaspoon mustard seeds 1 teaspoon cumin seeds A pinch of asafoetida 5-7 curry leaves 1 medium tomato, chopped Salt to taste 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon coriander powder 1 teaspoon cumin powder 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves 1 teaspoon garam masala powder Method Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add cumin seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves, mix and sauté for 30 seconds. Add tomato and salt, mix and cook till tomatoes are done. Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and cumin powder and mix well. Add potatoes and chopped coriander and mix well. Add 1 cup water, mix, cover and cook for 3-4 whistles. Add garam masala powder and mix well.
