Ingredients list for Mixed Nuts Pulao
- 8-10 Almonds
- 8-10 Cashewnuts
- 8-10 Walnuts
- 3 cups Basmati rice cooked
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 6-8 Cloves
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon White sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup Flax seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds (kale til)
- 1-2 Green chillies finely chopped
- 6-8 Curry leaves
- 2 medium Onions sliced
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to taste Crushed black peppercorns
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 cup Green peas
- as required Aloo salli
- as required Bikaneri sev
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds, cloves, mustard seeds, white sesame seeds, flax seeds, fenugreek seeds, black sesame seeds, almonds, cashewnuts and walnuts and toss to mix.
- Add green chillies and curry leaves and sauté for a minute. Add onion and sauté for a minute. Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, crushed peppercorns, salt and green peas, mix and cook for a minute.
- Add India Gate Basmati Rice, mix and cook for a minute.
- Serve hot garnished with aloo salli and sev.
