Ingredients
- 8-10 cashewnuts, vertically halved
- 10-12 almonds, vertically halved
- 15-20 pistachios
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon melon seeds
- 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon flax seeds
- 2 tablespoons chopped dried coconut
- 2 cups puffed lotus seeds (makhana)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
- ½ teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
- ½ teaspoon black salt
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
- 2-3 dried fig slices, chopped
- 20-25 raisins
- ¼ cup dark chocolate chips
Method
- Dry roast cashewnuts, almonds, pistachios, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, sunflower seeds and flax seeds in a non-stick pan for 3-4 minutes on low heat, tossing every few seconds. Transfer onto a plate.
- Dry roast dried coconut in the same pan for 2 minutes. Transfer into a large bowl.
- Dry roast puffed lotus seeds in the same pan till crisp. Transfer into another bowl.
- Heat oil in the same pan on low heat. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, chaat masala, dried mango powder and black salt and mix well. Saute for 1 minute.
- Add the puffed lotus seeds and the roasted nuts and seeds and mix till well combined.
- Add powdered sugar and mix till well combined. Allow to cool completely.
- Add dried figs, raisins and roasted mixture into the bowl of dried coconut and mix well. Add chocolate chips and mix till well combined.
- Transfer into an air tight container and serve as required.
