Ingredients
- 200 grams puffed lotus seeds (makhana)
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ teaspoon green cardamom powder
- ¼ teaspoon fennel powder
Method
- Heat ghee in a kadai, add makhana and sauté on medium heat for 5-6 minutes or till crisp. Transfer onto a plate and set aside.
- Heat a kadai, add sugar and 2 tablespoons water and cook till sugar caramelizes.
- Add green cardamom powder and fennel powder and mix well. Add makhana and mix well.
- Transfer onto a plate and allow to cool.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
