Ingredients

Method

  1. Transfer chickpeas into a food processor jar, add salt, black pepper powder, cumin powder, paprika powder, lemon juice, onion, garlic, coriander leaves and parsley and process into coarse mixture.
  2. Transfer the mixture into a bowl, add sesame seeds and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 180° C for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll each portion into a ball. Flatten each ball slightly to make a falafel.
  5. Spray some oil on air fryer basket and arrange the falafels in a single layer in it.
  6. Spray some oil on top, fit the basket into the air fryer and air fry for 25 minutes.
  7. Bring the fryer out, arrange the falafels in a serving bowl and serve with hummus or your choice of dip.
