Jawas Chutney

Method

  1. Heat a non-stick pan, add flax seeds and dry roast for 4-5 minutes. Transfer into a bowl and allow to cool completely.
  2. Dry roast white sesame seeds in the same for 2-3 minutes. Transfer into the same bowl and allow to cool.
  3. Heat oil in same non-stick pan, add garlic cloves and sauté till golden brown. Add curry leaves and sauté for 30 seconds.
  4. Transfer the roasted flax seeds, sesame seeds, garlic and curry leaves into a grinder jar. Add cumin seeds, salt and red chilli powder and grind to coarse powder.
  5. Cool completely, transfer into a bowl or store in an airtight jar and use as required.
