Ingredients
- 250 grams peeled and deveined shrimps
- ¼ cup refined flour (maida)
- ¼ teaspoon dried mixed herbs
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¾ teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1¼ teaspoons garlic powder
- 1¼ teaspoons paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- ¾ cup grated fresh coconut
- ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs
- Oil for spraying
- Sweet chilli sauce for serving
Method
- Take refined flour in a bowl, add dried mixed herbs, salt, black pepper powder, garlic powder, paprika powder and onion powder and mix well.
- Break egg in another bowl, add milk and hot sauce and whisk well.
- Mix coconut and panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Preheat the air fryer to 190° C for 2-3 minutes.
- Roll shrimps in refine flour mixture, dip in egg mixture and roll in coconut mixture.
- Spray some oil in air fryer basket and arrange the shrimps in single layer. Fit the basket into the air fryer and air fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Bring the basket out, flip, fit the basket into the air fryer and air fry for 3-4 minutes more.
- Bring the basket out, transfer the shrimps into a serving bowl and serve hot with sweet chilli sauce
