By Sanjeev Kapoor 15 Apr 2020 in Recipes Veg New Update Aloo Gobhi Main Ingredients Potatoes, Cauliflower florets Cuisine Indian,Punjabi Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 26-30 minutes Serve 4 Taste Tangy Level of Cooking Moderate Others Veg Ingredients 3 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into medium cubes 200 grams cauliflower florets 1 1/2 tablespoons oil 1 teaspoon cumin seeds 3-4 green chillies, slit 3 tablespoons chopped onions 3 tablespoons chopped tomato Salt to taste 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1 teaspoon red chilli powder 1 teaspoon garam masala powder 1 1/2 teaspoons coriander powder 1 inch ginger, cut into thin strips 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves Coriander leaves for garnish Method Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and when their colour changes, add green chillies, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add onion, mix and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add tomatoes, mix and saute for 1 minute. Add salt, mix well, cover and cook till tomatoes soften. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and coriander powder and mix well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add potatoes, cauliflower florets, salt and ½ cup water and mix well. Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes or till the vegetables are done. Remove the lid, sprinkle ginger strips and coriander leaves and mix well.
