Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sev + to sprinkle
 - 1 cup finely chopped tomatoes
 - 2 tablespoons oil
 - 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
 - 1 green chilli, finely chopped
 - 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped ginger
 - 1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
 - Salt to taste
 - 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
 - 1 teaspoon coriander powder
 - 1 teaspoon sugar
 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
 - Fresh coriander sprig for garnish
 
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add mustard seeds and sauté till the seeds splutter.
 - Add green chillies, ginger and garlic, mix and sauté well. Add salt and tomatoes and mix well.
 - Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt and coriander powder, mix well and cook till tomatoes turn soft and pulpy.
 - Add sugar and mix well. Add some water, mix, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
 - Add coriander leaves and sev and mix well.
 - Sprinkle some sev on top, garnish with coriander sprig and serve hot with chapattis.
