Ingredients
- 10-12 Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds (badam)
- Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds, halved vertically for garnish
- ¾ cup refined flour
- ¼ cup gram flour
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ½ tsp baking powder
- A pinch of baking soda
- A pinch of green cardamom powder
- ¼ cup ghee
Method
- Preheat oven to 180º C
- Chop Pro V Select Whole Natural Almonds finely.
- Sift together refined flour, gram flour, ¼ cup powdered sugar, baking powder, baking soda and green cardamom powder into a bowl.
- Add chopped almonds and ghee and mix well.
- Divide the dough into equal portions and roll into balls, flatten each ball to make a thick disc.
- Arrange the discs on a baking tray and place halved almonds on each disc.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Bring the tray out of the oven and let the nankhatais cool. Store in an airtight container or arrange on a serving plate and serve.
