By Sanjeev Kapoor 10 Feb 2022 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Button mushrooms, Green peas (matar) Cuisine Indian Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 21-25 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Mushroom Matar Masala 12-16 Button mushrooms , halved 2-3 tablespoons Green peas (matar) , boilrf 1 tablespoon Oil 1 large Onion , finely chopped 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste 1 large Tomato , finely chopped 1/4 cup Tomato puree 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Cumin powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 1/4 cup Yogurt to taste Salt 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder 2 tablespo to garnish Fresh cream for garnish Fresh coriander leaves Method Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté till golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté till fragrant. Add tomato, mix and saute till the tomato turns soft and pulpy. Add tomato puree, mix and cook for a minute. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add a little water, mix well and saute for 1 minute. Add yogurt, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms and salt, mix well and cook for a minute. Add some more water, mix, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add green peas, mix well and cook for a few seconds. Add garam masala powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Add cream, mix well and cook for a few seconds.
