Ingredients
- 12-16 button mushrooms , halved
- 2-3 tablespoons Ggeen peas (matar) , boiled
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 large onion , finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 large tomato , finely chopped
- 1/4 cup tomato puree
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 2 tablespooons fresh cream + to garnish
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Method
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté till golden brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, mix and sauté till fragrant.
- Add tomato, mix and saute till the tomato turns soft and pulpy. Add tomato puree, mix and cook for a minute.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add a little water, mix well and saute for 1 minute.
- Add yogurt, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add mushrooms and salt, mix well and cook for a minute. Add some more water, mix, cover and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add green peas, mix well and cook for a few seconds.
- Add garam masala powder, mix well and cook for a minute. Add cream, mix well and cook for a few seconds.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, drizzle a little cream, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
