Ingredients list for Methi Paneer Bhurjee
- 100 grams Paneer
- 1 bunch Fenugreek Leaves
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
- 3-4 Dried red chillies broken
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
- 2-3 Green chillies broken
- 2 Onions finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- to taste Salt
- 1 tablespoon Kasoori methi powder
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 Papad roasted and crushed
Method
- Heat oil in a handi. Add asafoetida, dried red chillies and sauté. Add cumin seeds, ginger, garlic and mix.
- Add green chillies, onions and sauté till lightly coloured. Add methi leaves and sauté on low heat. Crumble paneer.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to the pan. Add paneer and mix well. Add kasoori methi, milk and mix well.
- Transfer methi paneer bhurjee into a serving bowl. Roast a papad and crush it on methi paneer bhurjee and serve hot.
