Ingredients list for Lehsuni Palak Methi Pakora

  • 2 tablespoons Garlic chopped
  • 2 cups Spinach shredded
  • 1 cup Fresh fenugreek leaves (methi) shredded
  • 1 cup Gram flour (besan)
  • 1 large Onion sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Carom seeds (ajwain)
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Dried mango powder
  • to taste Salt
  • for deep-frying Oil

Method

  1. Take spinach and fenugreek leaves in a bowl. Add onion, garlic, carom seeds, gram flour, turmeric powder, chilli powder, baking soda and dried mango powder and mix well.
  2. Add salt and mix. Add little water and mix again.
  3. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Drop in portions of the mixture and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
  4. Serve hot.
