Ingredients
- 300 grams broccoli, separated into small florets and blanched
- 1 teaspoon cumin Seeds
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 1 inch ginger, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
- 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 6 teaspoons yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add the cumin seeds. Once they change colour, add onions and sauté till golden. Add the green chilli, ginger and sauté for half a minute.
- Add the turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder, dried mango powder and mix well. Add the tomatoes, salt, mix well and sauté till tomatoes are pulpy.
- Add the broccoli and toss well. Add the yogurt and mix well. Cook for four to five minutes. Transfer into a serving bowl and sprinkle garam masala powder on top.
- Serve hot.
