Ingredients

  • 8-10 large broccoli florets, blanched
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste
  • ½ lemon
    Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese
  • ½ tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  • Crushed black peppercorns to taste
  • 2 teaspoons mustard sauce
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk
  • Salad to serve

Method

  1. Take ginger-garlic paste, fresh cream and salt in a large bowl and mix well. Add crushed black peppercorns and mix well.
  2. Squeeze the juice of ½ lemon and mix well. Add broccoli pieces and mix well so that all the broccoli florets are well coated with the marinade.
  3. Light sufficient charcoal in a barbeque, meanwhile, skewer the broccoli pieces on skewers and place them on the barbeque grill and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  4. To make the dressing, take cream cheese, garlic, crushed black peppercorns and mustard sauce in a bowl and mix well. Add milk and mix.
  5. Drizzle a little dressing on the broccoli and cook for 1-2 minutes. Take them off the barbecue.
  6. Arrange the broccoli florets on a serving plate and drizzle remaining dressing over them and serve hot with salad.
