Ingredients
- 250 gms readymade dhokla
- 1 small cabbage, finely shredded
- 1 small cauliflower, grated
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 4-5 dried red chillies
- ¼ teaspoon asafoetida
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon split skinless black gram (dhuli urad dal)
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
- 6-8 curry leaves
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Cut red chillies into 4 pieces and remove seeds.
- Add asafoetida, mustard seeds, urad dal, carom seeds, curry leaves and red chillies to the pan and sauté till fragrant.
- Add cauliflower and cabbage and mix. Add turmeric powder and salt, mix well, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Crush the dhokla and add to the pan and mix well. Add lemon juice and mix again.
- Serve hot.
