Ingredients
- 1 cup bajra soaked
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- ½ cup moong sprouts
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- ½ teaspoon asafoetida
- 1 inch ginger cut into julienne
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 3 tablespoons gram flour (besan)
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
Method
- Grind together pearl millet, moong sprouts, green chillies, asafoetida, ginger, coriander powder, turmeric powder and yogurt to make a fine mixture. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
- Heat a non-stick tawa.
- Add gram flour, rice flour, salt and some water to the ground mixture and mix well to make a smooth batter.
- Put some oil on the hot tawa and wipe with a tissue. Pour a ladleful of prepared batter and spread to make a thin disc. Drizzle some oil on the edges and roast the disc from both sides till golden.
- Fold and serve hot.
