Ingredients list for Anjeer Gobhi
- 1 medium Cauliflower separated into small florets
- 2 tablespoons Dried Figs
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 teaspoon Garlic chopped
- 2 teaspoons Ginger chopped
- 2 Green chillies chopped
- 2 Onions chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 8 Dried figs soaked
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- to taste Salt
Method
- Grind together figs, yogurt, garam masala powder and salt to a fine paste. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and when they begin to change colour, add garlic, ginger, green chillies and onions and sauté till onions are golden.
- Add salt, turmeric powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder, mix well and sauté for a minute. Add cauliflower and mix. Cook till the cauliflower is partially done. Add anjeer paste, mix well and add a little water. Mix again and cook till thick. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
