Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips (salli) and soaked
- 2 cups green peas, boiled
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
- 2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon dried mango powder (amchur)
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 1/2 cups finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Juice of ½ lemon
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add ginger and green chillies and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Drain potatoes, add to the pan and mix. Add turmeric powder, dried mango powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder and salt and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add green peas and coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add lemon juice and mix well. Cook further for 1-1½ minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
