Ingredients for Roasted Bhutta Aur Cornflakes Salad Recipe

  • Corn Cob 1

  • Cornflakes crushed 1/2 cup

  • Butter 1 tablespoon

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Garlic cloves mashed 6-8

  • Green chilli finely chopped 1

  • Honey 1 tablespoon

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • Red chilli flakes 1/4 teaspoon

  • Crushed black peppercorns 1/4 teaspoon

  • Salt to taste

  • Chaat masala 1/4 teaspo to sprinkle

  • Onion cut into cubes 1 medium

  • Tomato peeled and cubed 1 medium

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 teaspoons

  • Red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon

Method

Step 1

Roast the corn cob on direct flame till well done.

Step 2

Heat butter and oil in a non stick pan, add garlic and sauté on a low heat.

Step 3

Transfer into a bowl.

Step 4

Add green chilli, honey, lemon juice, red chilli flakes, black peppercorns, salt, chaat masala, onion and tomato and mix well.

Step 5

Separate the roasted corns from the cob and add to the bowl and mix. Add 1 tsp coriander leaves and mix.

Step 6

Garnish with remaining coriander leaves, chaat masala, red chilli powder and crushed cornflakes and serve immediately.
