By Sanjeev Kapoor 02 Apr 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Prawns , Black peppercorns Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 11-15 minutes Cook time 16-20 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Non Veg Ingredients list for Prawns Pepper Fry 20-25 Prawns cleaned and deveined 2-3 teaspoons Black peppercorns crushed 2 tablespoons Oil 1 Large onion sliced 1 teaspoon Ginger finely chopped 2 teaspoons Garlic finely chopped 12-14 Curry leaves 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 1/2 tablespoons Tata Sampann Coriander Powder to taste Salt 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped 4 teaspoons Tamarind pulp 3 tablespoons Coconut scraped 1 Butter cut into small cube Method Heat oil in a shallow non-stick pan, add onion, ginger, garlic and curry leaves, mix and saute on high heat for 2-3 minutes. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and Tata Sampann Coriander Powder, mix well and saute for 2 minutes. Add prawns and salt and toss well. Add 2 tsps crushed black peppercorns and coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add tamarind pulp, coconut and remaining crushed black peppercorns, mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes. Take the pan off the heat and transfer into a serving bowl.
