Ingredients
- 16-20 baby potatoes, boiled
- 2 teaspoons molagapodi (gun powder)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 green chillies, slit
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 5-7 curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon dried mango powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
- Flatten the baby potatoes between your palms and put into a bowl.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add green chillies and sauté for 10 seconds. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter. Add curry leaves and let it crackle.
- Add flattened baby potatoes, mix and cook till golden.
- Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, dried mango powder and gun powder and mix. Add salt, mix and cook for 1 minute.
- Add coriander leaves and toss well. Add lemon juice, switch off heat and mix.
- Serve hot.
