By Sanjeev Kapoor 19 Sep 2019 in Recipes Course New Update Advertisment Main Ingredients Chapattis, Oil Cuisine Indian Course Snacks and Starters Prep Time 6-10 minutes Cook time 11-15 minutes Serve 4 Taste Spicy Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Leftover Tadka Roti - SK Khazana 4-5 Chapattis 2 tablespoons Oil 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds 5-6 Garlic cloves chopped 1-2 Green chillies chopped 1 Medium onion chopped 1 Medium tomato chopped 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric powder 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon Coriander powder 2 teaspoons Lemon juice 2 tablespoons Yogurt to taste Salt 2 tablespo to garnish Fresh coriander leaves chopped to garnish Toasted sesame seeds Method Tear the chapattis and put into a bowl. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add cumin seeds and let their colour change. Add garlic, green chillies and onion and sauté till translucent. Add tomatoes and sauté till pulpy. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder and coriander powder and sauté well. Add ¼ cup water and lemon juice and mix well. Add yogurt, mix well and sauté for 2 minutes. Add chapatti pieces and mix well. Add salt, mix well. Add coriander leaves and take it off the heat. Garnish with sesame seeds and coriander leaves.
