Ingredients for Kamal Kakdi Recipe

  • Cucumber peeled and cut into 1 cm cubes 3 medium

  • Coconut grated 2 tablespoons

  • Garlic paste 1 tablespoon

  • Ginger paste 1/2 tablespoon

  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tablespoons

  • Oil 1 tablespoon

  • Cumin seeds 1 teaspoon

  • Curry leaves 5

  • Asafoetida a pinch

  • Green chillies chopped 2

  • Salt to taste

Method

Step 1

In a bowl mix together cucumber, chillies, garlic paste, ginger paste, lemon juice and fresh coriander. Mix well.

Step 2

Heat oil in a non stick pan. Add cumin seeds, curry leaves and asafetida. Saute for a minute. Add to the above mixture.

Step 3

Add coconut and salt. Mix well. Chill and serv
