Ingredients list for Green Chilli Chicken
- 750 grams Chicken , cut into 1 inch pieces on the bone
- 1 cup + to garnish Light green chillies
- 1/2 cup Dark green chillies
- 1/4 cup Ginger-garlic-coriander leaves-green chilli paste
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- to taste Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Method
- Take chicken pieces in a bowl, add ginger-garlic-coriander leaves-green chilli paste, mix and set aside to marinate for 2-3 hours.
- Heat oil in a deep non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, and once they change color, add light green chillies, dark green chillies and salt, mix, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the marinated chicken and mix well. Add turmeric powder and a little salt, mix well and cook on high heats for 5 minutes. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 20-25 minutes or till fully done.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
