Ingredients list for Chicken Roll
- 2 Chicken Breasts
- 4 Hot Dog Buns
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/4 small Cabbage shredded
- 1/4 cup Vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 medium Onion finely sliced
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- Juice of ½ lemon
- to taste Salt
- 65 grams Bhuna masala
- 1/2 Green capsicum cut into thin long strips
- 1/2 cup Bean sprouts
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- 8 Spinach leaves (palak)
- as required Cheese grated
Method
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant. Add cabbage, vinegar, sugar, onion and sauté till the onion become light golden. Transfer into a bowl.
- Cut chicken breasts into thin long diagonal strips, add to the same pan and sauté in1 tbsp oil for 3-4 minutes. Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and salt and mix well.
- Add bhuna masala and mix well. Add green capsicum and toss. Transfer into a bowl, add bean sprouts, mix well and set aside.
- Cut a thin slice from top of all the rolls and create a pocket. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Place the rolls in the pan and toast them lightly.
- Place 2 spinach leaves in the pocket of each roll and spread cabbage over them. Spread chicken mixture over cabbage.
- Top with grated cheese and cover with the thin slice. Serve immediately.
