Ingredients list for Chicken Roll

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 4 Hot Dog Buns
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 small Cabbage shredded
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 medium Onion finely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala powder
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • to taste Salt
  • 65 grams Bhuna masala
  • 1/2 Green capsicum cut into thin long strips
  • 1/2 cup Bean sprouts
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 8 Spinach leaves (palak)
  • as required Cheese grated

Method

  1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant. Add cabbage, vinegar, sugar, onion and sauté till the onion become light golden. Transfer into a bowl.
  2. Cut chicken breasts into thin long diagonal strips, add to the same pan and sauté in1 tbsp oil for 3-4 minutes. Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice and salt and mix well.
  3. Add bhuna masala and mix well. Add green capsicum and toss. Transfer into a bowl, add bean sprouts, mix well and set aside.
  4. Cut a thin slice from top of all the rolls and create a pocket. Heat butter in a non-stick pan. Place the rolls in the pan and toast them lightly.
  5. Place 2 spinach leaves in the pocket of each roll and spread cabbage over them. Spread chicken mixture over cabbage.
  6. Top with grated cheese and cover with the thin slice. Serve immediately.
