Ingredients list for Chicken And Oats Cake

  • 1 cup Chicken mince
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 2 medium Onions
  • 10-12 Curry leaves
  • 2 teaspoons Garlic chopped
  • 2 Green chillies chopped
  • ½ inch Ginger chopped
  • 1½ teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 2½ teaspoons Garam masala powder
  • to taste Crushed black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Rice flour
  • to shallow fry Olive oil

Method

  1. Finely chop onions. Roughly chop curry leaves and place both in a bowl. Add garlic, green chillies, ginger, 1 teaspoon red chilli powder, 1½ teaspoons garam masala powder, crushed peppercorns, salt and chicken mince and mix well. Add chopped coriander and mix well. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Grind oats coarsely and transfer into a bowl. Add rice flour, remaining garam masala powder, remaining red chilli powder, salt and crushed peppercorns and mix well. Spread this mixture onto a plate.
  3. Divide the chicken mince mixture into equal portions and shape them into medium size cakes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan.
  5. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan.
  6. Serve hot.
