Method

  1. Heat 1 cup water in a deep pan, add 1 teaspoon ghee and salt, mix well and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add rice flour and stir continuously till well combined. Sprinkle a little water, cover and cook on low heat for 1-2 minutes. 
  3. Switch the heat off and transfer the mixture into a parat. Knead with a small stainless steel bowl while the dough is hot. 
  4. Once the dough is warm, use your hand to knead the dough till it is smooth. Divide the dough into small equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
  5. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan, add the dough balls and sauté on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Transfer the mixture on a plate.
  6. Add jaggery into the same pan and cook till it melts. Add coconut and mix well and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add green cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, cashewnuts, almonds and pistachios and mix well. Add the sauteed dough balls and mix well. 
  8. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve warm.
