Ingredients
- 1 cup scraped fresh coconut
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- 5-6 cashewnuts, halved
- ⅛ cup fresh coconut slices
- ½ cup chopped jaggery
- 2 tablespoons rice flour
- ¾ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg powder
Method
- Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add cashewnuts and sauté till golden. Drain and set aside on a plate.
- Add coconut pieces to the ghee left in the pan and sauté till golden. Drain and set aside.
- Add coconut, jaggery and rice flour to the same pan and cook till jaggery melts.
- Add milk, green cardamom powder and nutmeg powder and cook till mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
- Add fried cashewnuts and coconut pieces and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve warm.
