  1. Preheat the oven to 180° C.
  2. Take milk in a bowl, add saffron and set aside.
  3. Break eggs into a bowl and beat lightly. Add castor sugar gradually and beat till light and fluffy.
  4. Sift refined flour, baking powder, salt and green cardamom powder directly into the bowl and beat till well incorporated.
  5. Add saffron milk and beat well.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a piping bag and pipe into madeleine moulds.
  7. Keep the mould in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Bring the mould out of the oven and set aside to cool.
  9. Unmould the madeleines, arrange them in a serving bowl and serve.
