Ingredients
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 227 grams butter
- 80 grams icing sugar
- 100 grams brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 270 grams refined flour (maida)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Method
- Take butter in a bowl, add icing sugar and brown sugar and beat with an electric beater till light and fluffy.
- Add vanilla essence and mix well.
- Sift refined flour, cocoa powder and baking soda directly in the bowl, add chocolate chips and mix with light hands. Divide the mixture into equal portions and roll into balls. Flatten slightly, arrange in a tray and refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
- Preheat the air fryer to 175° C for 2-3 minutes.
- Line air fryer basket with parchment paper. Arrange the cookies over the paper. Fit the basket into the air fryer and air fry for 10-12 minutes.
- Bring the basket out and allow the cookies to cool. Make more cookies with the remaining mixture.
- Transfer into a serving plate and serve with cups of hot coffee.
