Ingredients
- 2 medium onions (kanda), thickly sliced
- 6 roasted urad dal papads
- 10-12 garlic cloves
- 4 green chillies, broken
- ½ cup roasted peanuts
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 small tomato, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
Method
- Take garlic in a mortar, add green chillies and roasted peanuts and crush coarsely with a pestle.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and once they change colour, add onions, mix and sauté till light golden.
- Add the crushed mixture, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato and mix well. Add salt, mix well and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Crush papads and add to the pan, add coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
