Ingredients
- ½ cup hazelnut flour
- ½ cup chopped hazelnuts
- ½ cup roughly chopped milk chocolate
- 1½ cups refined flour (maida)
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup castor sugar
- 1½ cups butter, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- ¼ cup milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 180° C.
- Sift refined flour into a large bowl. Add baking powder and baking soda and mix well.
- Take brown sugar, castor sugar and butter in a large bowl and beat it with an electric beater till the mixture turns light and fluffy.
- Break the egg into the bowl and continue to beat till well combined. Add vanilla essence and mix well.
- Add hazelnut powder, chopped hazelnuts and milk chocolate and mix well. Add the sifted flour mixture and gently fold in till a dough is formed. Add milk and mix well.
- Take small portions of the mixture and roll it into a ball and press it lightly. Arrange them on a baking tray lined with silicon sheet. Place it in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Bring the tray out of the oven and allow to cool.
- Arrange on a serving plate and serve.
