  • Mayonnaise as required
  • Iceberg lettuce leaves as required
  • Cheese slices as required
  • Caramelized onion as required

Method

  1. Heat 1 tablespoons oil in a non-stick pan, add onion and sauté till translucent. Transfer into a bowl and allow to cool.
  2. Take chicken mince in a large bowl, add salt, garlic, green chillies and black pepper powder and mix well. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Add sautéed onion and mix well.
  3. Add butter and mix till well combined.
  4. Spread breadcrumbs in a large plate.
  5. Dip your fingers with some water and divide the chicken mince mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty, the size of the burger bun, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  6. Heat remaining oil in a non-stick tawa, place the patties on it, one at a time, and cook on medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Flip the patties and cook the other side for 2-3 minutes as well or till evenly golden on both sides.
  7. To assemble the burgers, slit the burger buns in half. Apply some butter on inner side of both halves. Apply some mustard paste on lower half and some mayonnaise on both halves. Arrange some lettuce leaves on lower half, place one patty on it and top it with a cheese slice and some caramelized onion and cover it with the top half.
  8. Keep the burgers on individual serving plates and serve with French fries and tomato ketchup.
