Atte Ki Nankhatai

Take as many as you can… It has the goodness of wheat flour with that aromatic whiff of ghee and green cardamoms. They are simply wonderful.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 180° C.
  2. Take melted ghee in a bowl, add powdered sugar and mix till sugar dissolves.
    Add whole wheat flour, gram flour, semolina, green cardamom powder and baking powder and knead till the mixture comes together. 
  3. Divide the mixture into equal portions and flatten slightly. Arrange them on a baking tray.
  4. Sprinkle almonds and pistachio slivers on top and press slightly. Keep the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Bring the tray out of the oven and let the nankhatais to cool down to room temperature.
  6. Store in air tight container or arrange them on a serving plate and serve with tea.
