Ingredients list for Turai Keema Mirch
- 3 medium Ridge Gourds peeled
- 1/2 kilogram Mutton Mince
- 7-8 Green chillies
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 4 Bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon Ginger finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Garlic finely chopped
- 3 medium Onions halved
- 1 tablespoon Coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Dried mango powder (amchur)
- to taste Salt
- for garnishing A fresh mint sprig
Method
- Finely chop onions in a chopper.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaves and sauté till fragrant.
- Add ginger and garlic and saute for a minute. Roughly chop green chillies, add to the pan and sauté for a minute. Add onions and sauté till light golden.
- Cut the ridge gourd into 1 inch cubes and add to the pan. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, dried mango powder, salt and mutton mince and mix well.
- Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or till the mince is fully cooked.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with a mint sprig and serve hot.
