Ingredients
- 8-10 button mushrooms,halved
 - 1 tablespoon oil
 - 1 tablespoon butter+ to garnish
 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
 - Salt to taste
 - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
 - 1 teaspoon carom seeds
 - 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
 - 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
 - 1 teaspoon coriander powder
 - 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
 - 2 green chillies, finely chopped
 - 1 small green capsicum, finely chopped
 - 1 tablespoon pav bhaji masala
 - Lemon slices to garnish
 - Pavs to serve
 - 1 medium onion, quartered
 
Method
- Heat oil on a non-stick tawa, add 1 tablespoon butter and let it melt. Add onions and sauté till translucent.
 - Add salt and mix well. Add cumin seeds and carom seeds, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
 - Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and coriander powder and mix well. Add tomato, mix and sauté till the tomato becomes pulpy.
 - Add green chillies, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add green capsicum, mix well and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
 - Add 1 teaspoon butter and mix till it melts. Add pav bhaji masala and mix well. Sprinkle some water and mash everything on the tawa with a masher and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
 - Add mushrooms, mix well and sauté till mushrooms are cooked.
 - Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with some butter and lemon slices and serve hot with pav and onions.
