Ingredients
- 200 grams noodles , boiled
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 4 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 4 teaspoons chopped ginger
- 8 tablespoons soya granules , soaked in warm water and drained
- 4 spring onions
- 8 teaspoons red chilli paste
- Salt to taste
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 8 tablespoons chilli oil
- 4 teaspoons vinegar
- 4 teaspoons sesame oil
Method
- For each portion, heat 1 tbsp oil in a non-stick wok, add ¼ cup onion, 1 tbsp garlic and 1 tsp ginger, mix and saute till lightly browned.
- Heat 2 cups water in a pan.
- When the onions soften, add 2 tbsps soya granules and mix. Add 2 tbsps water and mix.
- Add ¼ of the boiled noodles to hot water and let them get heated through.
- Slice 1 spring onion.
- Add 2 tsps red chilli paste to the wok, along with salt and ¼ cup water, mix and cook for 2 minutes. Add 1 tbsp honey and mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add salt and 1 tbsp chilli oil to the noodles and mix. Lift the noodles from hot water and put into a serving bowl.
- Add 1 tsp vinegar to the soya mixture and mix. Add 1 tsp sesame oil and mix. Put this mixture over the noodles in the bowl.
- Garnish with spring onions, drizzle 1 tbsp chilli oil and serve immediately.
