Lemon Ginger Ale

Ingredients 

Method 

  1. Heat 2½ cups water in a deep pan, add ginger and mix well. Bring it to a boil and continue to cook for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Strain the mixture into a bowl and allow to cool completely.
  3. Add sugar syrup to the ginger mixture and mix till well combined. 
  4. To serve, put a few ice cubes in each serving glass, pour a portion of the prepared ginger syrup, 1½ teaspoons lemon juice, 2 lemon slices and top it up with soda.
  5. Garnish with a lemon slice and serve immediately.
  6. Note- You can store the ginger syrup in an airtight jar and keep it in the refrigerator.
