Ingredients list for Roasted Bhutta Aur Cornflakes Salad

  • 1 Corn Cob
  • 1/2 cup Cornflakes crushed
  • 1 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 6-8 Garlic cloves mashed
  • 1 Green chilli finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed black peppercorns
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 teaspo to sprinkle Chaat masala
  • 1 medium Onion cut into cubes
  • 1 medium Tomato peeled and cubed
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli powder

Method

  1. Roast the corn cob on direct flame till well done.
  2. Heat butter and oil in a non stick pan, add garlic and sauté on a low heat.
  3. Transfer into a bowl.
  4. Add green chilli, honey, lemon juice, red chilli flakes, black peppercorns, salt, chaat masala, onion and tomato and mix well.
  5. Separate the roasted corns from the cob and add to the bowl and mix. Add 1 tsp coriander leaves and mix.
  6. Garnish with remaining coriander leaves, chaat masala, red chilli powder and crushed cornflakes and serve immediately.
