Ingredients
- 1 corn on the cob
- 1/2 cup cornflakes, crushed
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 6-8 garlic cloves, mashed
- 1 green chilli, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed black peppercorns
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon chaat masala + to sprinkle
- 1 medium onion, cut into cubes
- 1 medium tomato, peeled and cubed
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder
Method
- Roast the corn cob on direct flame till well done.
- Heat butter and oil in a non stick pan, add garlic and sauté on a low heat.
- Transfer into a bowl.
- Add green chilli, honey, lemon juice, red chilli flakes, black peppercorns, salt, chaat masala, onion and tomato and mix well.
- Separate the roasted corns from the cob and add to the bowl and mix. Add 1 tsp coriander leaves and mix.
- Garnish with remaining coriander leaves, chaat masala, red chilli powder and crushed cornflakes and serve immediately.
