Ingredients
- 400 grams paneer
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves Paste
- 1 tablespoon black pepper powder
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon green chilli paste
- 12-15 cashewnuts, boiled and pureed
- 2-3 tablespoons hung yogurt
- 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 teaspoon dried mango powder
- 1 cup spinach puree
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves paste
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Method
- Heat oil in a non stick kadai, add cumin seeds and sauté till light brown.
- Add onions and sauté till light brown. Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste, cashewnut paste and sauté for a minute.
- Add hung yogurt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, dried mango powder, spinach purée, coriander paste, mint paste and salt and mix well.
- Cut paneer into 1 inch cubes and add to the gravy. Add lemon juice and mix lightly.
- Transfer into a serving bowl, sprinkle black pepper powder and serve.
