Ingredients
- 8 bread slices
- 140 grams instant noodles
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes + sprinkling
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano + sprinkling
- 1 teaspoon fried garlic
- 4 sausages, sliced
- 1½ teaspoons paprika powder + sprinkling
- 4 tablespoons processed cheese, grated + sprinkling
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- Butter as required
- Green chutney to serve
- Cabbage shredded for garnish
- Wafers to serve
Method
- Heat 1 cup water in a non-stick pan, add instant noodles with the tastemaker, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes or till the water is absorbed. Take off the heat and set aside.
- Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add onion, tomato, salt and red chilli flakes, mix well and saute for 2 minutes. Add dried oregano, fried garlic and sausages and mix well.
- Add paprika powder and mix well. Add cheese and coriander leaves, mix well and cook for 1 minute.
- For each portion, apply butter on 1 slice of bread, apply green chutney and spread some sausage stuffing.
- Apply butter on another slice of bread and apply green chutney and place this on top of the sausage mixture, chutney side facing down.
- Apply a little butter on top of the 2nd slice and spread some noodle mixture, sprinkle a little grated cheese, red chilli flakes and dried oregano. Garnish with shredded cabbage and serve with green chutney and wafers.
