By Sanjeev Kapoor 16 Nov 2021 in Recipes Course New Update Main Ingredients Split skinless green gram (dhuli moong dal), Sprouted green gram (ankurit moong) Cuisine Tamil Nadu Course Main Course Vegetarian Prep Time 41-50 minutes Cook time 6-10 minutes Serve 4 Taste Mild Level of Cooking Easy Others Veg Ingredients list for Kosumali 1/2 cup Split skinless green gram (dhuli moong dal) 1/2 cup Sprouted green gram (ankurit moong) , boiled 1/2 medium Raw mango , peeled and chopped 2 medium Carrots , grated 1 medium Cucumber , grated 2 Green chillies , chopped 1 tablespoon Fresh coriander leaves , chopped 1 tablespoon Lemon juice to taste Salt 2 teaspoons Oil 1/2 teaspoon Mustard seeds 1 sprig Curry leaves , scraped 1/4 cup Fresh coconut , scraped Method Wash and soak split green gram in 1 cup of water for 1/2 hour and drain. Boil sprouted green gram till just cooked. Drain and keep aside. Put drained moong dal, bean sprouts, carrots, cucumber, green chillies, raw mango and coriander leaves in a mixing bowl. Add lemon juice and salt and mix well. Heat oil in a tempering pan, add mustard seeds and let them splutter. Add curry leaves and let them crackle. Add this tempering to the bowl and mix well. Add most of the coconut and mix well. Transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with remaining coconut and serve.
