Ingredients
- 300 grams paneer (cottage cheese), cut into small cubes
- 8 white bread slices
- 2 medium carrots, grated
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green chilli, chopped
- 2 tablespoons coriander leaves, chopped
- 2½ tablespoons green chutney
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Butter as required
- French fries to serve
- Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
- Take cottage cheese cubes in a large bowl, add carrots, onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, green chutney, salt and mayonnaise and mix well.
- Apply butter on one side of all the bread slices, place a portion of the stuffing on 4 slices and cover with the remaining slices with the butter side facing down.
- Heat a griller. Apply butter on top of all the sandwiches, place them, butter side downwards, and apply butter on the other side too.
- Grill till the sandwiches till golden and crisp on both sides.
- Cut them into triangles and transfer them onto a serving plate. Serve hot with French fries and tomato ketchup.
