Ingredients list for Tomato Ketchup

  • 3 cups Fresh tomato puree
  • 2 teaspoons Red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried ginger powder (saunth)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black salt
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vinegar

Method

  1. Boil tomato puree in a deep non-stick pan. Add red chilli powder, onion powder, garlic powder and ginger powder and mix well.
  2. Add salt, black salt and sugar, and mix. Add vinegar, mix and cook for a minute.
  3. Strain into a bowl and cool down to room temperature.
  4. Pour into a bottle through a funnel. Or transfer into a serving bowl and serve as a dip with potato wedges.
