Ingredients
- 3 large wafer potatoes
- Salt to taste
- Oil to deep fry
- Tomato ketchup to serve
Method
- Peel potatoes and thickly slice them. Cut each slice into 2 inch fingers.
- Boil sufficient water in a non-stick deep pan, add salt and add the potato fingers and cook them till ¾ done. Drain on absorbent paper. Set aside to cool down to room temperature.
- Gently transfer into a zip-lock bag, seal and freeze.
- Heat sufficient oil in a kadai, deep-fry the potato fingers till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper.
- Sprinkle salt on top of the French fries and toss gently.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
